Course Open - Playing Conditions amended 1/4/2020
Thank you to all our Members for your patience, as you may be aware there have been a lot of mixed messages coming out and it does play havoc with our operations. Many of you have posed questions as to why the course was closed in the first place, on what basis the Club has now determined it is able to reopen and whether we are exempt from the current restrictions imposed by the Government. The answers you seek and the ministerial announcements have been noted by our industry bodies and have been attached as links below.

We thank you and all our members for your patience and cannot stress enough that we all enjoy the game of golf whilst strictly adhering to the rules posted in our original email, furthermore detailed below:

Playing Conditions amended as of 1/4/2020:

  • The Golf Course is open today (1/4/2020) for social play.
  • Obviously spacial/social distancing is a must! Please be self aware at all times, please don't spoil it for everyone.
  • Singles Competitions to be played across all competition days.
  • All players commence from the first tee with 5 minute intervals.
  • 2 players per group.
  • Flags must remain in.
  • No rakes in the bunkers so preferred lie at 15cm.
  • Weekend Competitions and Public Holidays are strictly available to Members only.
  • Bookings will be available online one week in advance.
  • Booking in for this weekends competitions (4/4/2020 & 5/4/2020) will be available from midday today! Medal rounds will be played for male and females on Saturday and Sunday (4/4/2020 & 5/4/2020) if we have sufficient members play.
  • Entry to the Pro-shop is via one entry only and only one person is permitted in the Pro-shop at any time.

Let's show everyone how responsible our golfers can be and keep our wonderful game going and course open! This is definitely achievable so lets not disappoint!
