JNJG 12 & Under State Championships

Carnarvon would like to congratulate Ebony Park who represented Carnarvon in the 'Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) 12 & Under State Age Championships'.

The Championships were held over 4 days at Penrith and Dunheved on Monday 16th - Friday 20th July 2018. Ebony was Runner Up in the Girls 10 years & under with of score of 306 on a count back.

Well done Ebony - Carnarvon is so proud of you.

10 Years and Under
Nara Shin (Ryde Parramatta) has shot 10 clear of Mirabelle Naaman (Liverpool) in the Girls Division. Rachel Lee (North Ryde) and Ebony Park (Carnarvon) are leading the Nett Division, with Skye Johnson moving to third after a Nett 71 in the second round.

10 Years & Under
10 Year Old superstar Nara Shin (Ryde Parramatta) has one hand on the trophy after shooting the best round of the tournament in the Girls Divsion on moving day. Shin was the first girl to break 80 for the week, recording a five over par 79 on the testing Dunheved layout. Allana Assabgy (Stonecutters Ridge) moved into second, whilst Rachel Lee (North Ryde) and Ebony Park (Carnarvon) continue to do battle in the Nett Division, with the trophy going down to the wire on the final day.

Friday 20 July 3:00pm
10 Years & Under
10 Year Old superstar Nara Shin (Ryde Parramatta) gave her rivals no chance in the 10 Years and Under Division, cruising to a 30 shot victory. 10 year old Shin was so impressive her score would have been good enough to finish 3rd overall! Allana Assabgy (Stonecutters Ridge) finished in second position, with Ballina's Frankie Payne flying home with a Nett 67 to win the Girls Nett Division on a countback from Ebony Park (Carnarvon).
