Creating Habitat Working Bee
Friday 23 August 2024  |  9:30am - 2pm  |  Register your interest via Eventbrite by clicking here

Come along for a day of tree planting and bush regeneration at Carnarvon Golf Club. We're restoring the native environment by removing invasive weeds and planting natives. This is valuable for improving natural systems and helps create healthy habitats for native wildlife.
We'll test the water quality in the creek and dams and learn about what's living there.
Green spaces aren't just great for wildlife, they're also associated with better physical health, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Plus they cool down our neighborhoods! Now's your chance to get involved with greening your community.
Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen, and bring a drinking bottle with water.
On-site training, tools, Morning tea and LUNCH will be provided.
RSVPs are essential, to avoid disappointment please register ASAP
Please arrive on time for check-in, training, and to avoid missing out on the fun!
Events are not guaranteed to run the full day.
For more information about this day, please contact Matt at Greater Sydney Landcare matt.keighery@greatersydneylandcare.org.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this event will take place.
