2021 Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf, 18 – 22 January 2021, in conjunction with Jack Newton Junior Golf
Ebony Park – Carnarvon Junior, represented her home Club in the 5 Day Tournament, held at various Golf Clubs across Sydney.
Girls 12 – 14 years, 23 golfers
Ebony placed 10th in the Scratch in her age group with a score of 426
Ebony tied for 10th place in the Nett in her age group with a score of 376
Girls Championship
Ebony placed 22nd overall in the Girls Championship, where there were 43 competitors
An overview of each round
Day 1 – Twin Creeks Country Club. Scratch 90, Nett 79
Day 2 – Liverpool Golf Club. Scratch 88, Nett 78
Day 3 – Brighton Lakes. Scratch 82, Nett 72. Day 3 was Ebony’s day, placing 4th in the nett in her age group.
Day 4 – Strathfield Golf Club. Scratch 84, Nett 73
Day 5 – Muirfield Golf Club. Scratch 82, Nett 74
What a tremendous way to represent Carnarvon Golf Club. Ebony commenced the Tournament with a GA handicap of 7.5. At the end of the Tournament after 5 days, Ebony now holds a GA Handicap of 6.8.
Great to see Juniors so enthusiastic about golf and can’t wait to share more of their achievements soon.
