Dear Members,
I write this letter to inform you of what has been happening at the club over the last month. As you may have heard our General Manager Owen Madden was offered a position with another golf club and he accepted the offer. Owen finished at the club on 28th August 2016. The Board wishes Owen well in his new appointment. I would like to thank Kathy Moran for acting in the General Managers position until a new General Manager is appointed.
The Board advertised for a new General Manager on 12th August 2016 and over forty applications were received. Applicants were assessed and after the final interview on Tuesday 13th September our new General Manager was chosen.
Our new General Manager is Mitch Nakic who will take up the position on Tuesday 11th October 2016. Mitch will bring with him years of club experience and is looking forward to meeting with the members of Carnarvon.
I urge you all to engage with Mitch our new General Manager and get to know him.
